“Tendencies: Current Positions in Czech and Hungarian Architecture” The event series, accompanying the exhibition „Emerging Identities – EAST!“introduces current postitions of the contemporary architectural scene of the “new” EU countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

“Czech architecture as a (new) communications system “ Dr. Richard Nemec (STAVBA, CZ)

Presentations by Adam Somlai-Fischer (aether architecture, HU) and László Földes (FÖLDES & Co. Ltd, HU)

Renowned architectural expert Prof. Ing. arch. Vladimír Šlapeta, Vice Director of the department of architecture at Akademie der Künste Berlin and Vice Rector for International Relations at Czech Technical University Prague, will introduce current developments in Czech architecture and discuss them with architecture critic Dr. Richard Nemec (STAVBA).

The Hungarian architectural scene will be represented by two very active offices from Budapest. Adam Somlai-Fischer (aether architecture) and László Földes (FÖLDES & Co. Ltd) introduce projects and working approaches.

A collaboration of DAZ, Collegium Hungaricum and Czech Point.
