As designers we are first and foremost problem solvers.
A main goal in my work has been to initiate discourse on important current themes in architecture. The conception and realisation of exhibitions, publications and program has been the main focus of my work throughout the last years. Often, in order to present ideas and exhibition, spaces themselves had to be created and initiated such as the gallery SUITCASEARCHITECTURE, the DAZ or the GLASHAUS at the DAZ.
I feel that exhibitions should be spatial experiences and publications portable exhibition spaces. Exhibitions should be used as a way to initiate discussion on current themes, not just to document them.
